James Young House was built in the late 1970’s by Youngs Paraffin Light and Mineral Oil Company, locally known as the “Pumpherston Soap Works”.
The YPML Co was then taken over by the well know multinational BP who operated the facility for a number of years before finally being decommissioned in the late 1990’s.
The office building was retained and continued to operate as site office by IR Robertson & Partners during the site remediation and golf course extension.
The office has been operating as multi occupancy office space since the 2000 and since attracted a number of longstanding tenants.
The present owners purchased the building in 2011 and we are committed to a steady program of improvements to benefit the existing tenants and attract new.
